  L'uomo nero

Gabriele returns to his small town in southern Italy to say goodbye to his dying father. The last words of the old man awaken in Gabriele the memory of the forgotten past when he was a boy in the 1960s and lived with his father, the local railway station chief who had artistic aspirations, his mother Franca, a teacher, and his Uncle Pinuccio, the younger brother of Franca. In the course of funeral preparations, Gabriele spends a night in his boyhood home and discovers a truth about his father that he never would have imagined, which radically alters his view of his father.
