  Giacomo is a lady's man, good at avoiding any kind of serious relationship. His life changes when he meets a woman on the streetcar--and exchange of glances soon becomes an obsession with him. He sees her every morning going to work on the streetcar that crosses the city. When he finally spends an evening with her, he discovers that it is her last day in Italy; she is going to New York to work in a prestigious publishing house. He thinks he'll never meet her anymore, until he takes a sudden decision led by his heart...
